It can be used on countertops as well, it is applied right over the laminate. (he did say a snow plow blade would tear it up though) He seemed to think it would be easy enough for me to do on my own. He has it outside his entryway door for the store, it gets lots of traffic, gets salt thrown on it in the winter, gets shoveled off, and he said it still looks great. (not including the cleaner.) The flooring dealer said it holds up well. It can be sanded before sealing, if a smoother surface is desired, but I am looking for a rougher surface, so wouldn't need to do that. The concrete has to be cleaned, a primer applied, the spread stone or spread rock is then applied, it dries, and then it is sealed. Since I'm not dealing with new concrete, no etching required for spread stone or spread rock. I called a supplier and asked him a few questions.
